Brief Introduction
The varied cored wires are popularly used in wire feeding technology of modern steel making. The cored wires can make good steel-making because they can greatly reduce the consumption of ferroalloy . The cored wire coils’ pay-off can be divided into inside pay-off and outside pay-off. Inside pay-off coils can be directly used with wire -feeding machines and tubes, which is simple. Outside pay-off coils need to be put on a turntable to use, which is complicated. The coils can be divided into big coils and small coils .The big ones’ outside diameters are 120cm, inside diameters are 60cm, 100cmwide.The small ones’ outside diameters are 120cm, inside diameters are 60-70cm, 60cm wide.
Cored wires
Cored wire technology is the new treatment out of furnace in recent years. Using alloy-cored wires can purify impurities to improve the mach inability and perating quality. Using alloy cored wires can increase ferroalloy production and minimize alloy consumption, cut down steel-making costs and maximize profits. Advantages of using Casi cored wires for the calcium treatment of steel are: 1. Changing the impurities content and form to improve mechanics function of steel. 2. Reduce or avoid the blocking in the water entrance. 3. Increase and stabilize alloy element’s recycling rate. Practice prove that Ca recycling rate is 1-3% through normal method, 5% by spraying powder, but Ca recycling rate increases to 10-30% by wire feeding technology.

Cored wires available
一、 Si-Ci wires、Si-Mn-Ca wires、Si-Ca-Ba wires、Al-Ca wires、 Ca-Fewires、 Pure Ca Wires . 二、 Ti-Fe wires(Ti30-70)、B-Fe wires (b20)、C wires(C≥98%)、 S-Fe wires、 Si-Zr wires、V-Fe wires、Mo-Fe wires、Nd-Fe wires、Pure Fe wires . 三、 Mixed RE wires(RE≥98%) 四、 RE-Si-Fe wires、RE-Mg-Si wires、RE-Ca-Mg-Si-Fe wires、 RE-Ca-Si-Fe wires 、RE-Ti-Mg-Si-Fe- wires、RE-Mn-Mg-Si-Fe wires、RE-Ca-Si wires、 RE-Ti-Mg-Fe wires、RE-Mn-Mg-Si-Fe wires、RE-Ca-Mg-Ba-Si-Fe wires 五、 The above wires are manufactured according to the international standards .We also can produce the wires according to users special needs. 六、 The above wires all can be operated endless.
Advantage of cored wires
1. Wire feeding technology can make fine adjustment of the chemistry of metal (For example: B & Ti). Wire feeding technology can also increase alloy element’s recycling rate. (Ca up to 30%). 2. The steel liquid treated by wire feeding technology is stable and well mixed. Secondary oxidation will be avoided .The mixture will speed up to float .The steel liquid will be clear and well mixed. 3. Wire feeding can prevent air being brought into the steel liquid.
