2. Clean electrode sockets, threads with compressed air and faces with a wire brush before fixing.Screw nipple into socket carefully not to damage threads. |
5. When joining electrodes by torque wrench, be sure to tighten exactly to specified torque. |

3.Blow out the space between the electrodes with compressed air. Use space "aish bone" to properly position new electrode. |
6. To avoid electrode breakage, remove any nonelectric conductive material from furnace. |

7. To avoid electrode breakage, be sure to place large scrap at furnace bottom and small scrap at top. Tighten immediately if electrodes loosen. |
